Angel

Angel, a vampire whose human soul was restored to him by a curse, becomes a detective in Los Angeles with the sole purpose of "helping the helpless." This often leads him and his crew to battle ferocious demons in order to free the souls tormented by them. As if that wasn't enough, Angel must also contend with the humans that ally themselves to those evil creatures, primarily from Wolfram & Hart, a law firm connected to the occult and otherwordly forces.

The show aired on The WB on October 5, 1999 and ended on May 19,2004. It consisted of 5 seasons with a total of 110 episodes.

1. During the Season 4 storyline arc as Angelus, David Boreanaz improvised many of his lines.
2. In the episode "Double of Nothin'", you can spot Ben Affleck eating at the restaurant where Gunn and Fred are arguing.
3. David Boreanaz turned down the role of Batman in the Dark Knight reboot. The role instead went to Christian Bale.
4. Dolly Parton was one of the executive producers of both Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
5. The vampire makeup took over an hour to apply.
